1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website at SyntaxCare.dev, you agree to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
2. Ownership & Usage Rights (Vest-to-Own)
Unlike traditional agency models where you pay a large upfront fee, SyntaxCare operates on a Website-as-a-Service (WaaS) model. During the first 12 months of your subscription, SyntaxCare retains ownership of the website design, code, and infrastructure. You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive license to use the website as long as your subscription is active.
Upon completion of 12 consecutive monthly payments, the Client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable license to the Website Design and Content. The Client may migrate the website to a host of their choice after this period without penalty.
If the Client wishes to cancel and migrate the website prior to the 12-month vesting period, a Buyout Fee equal to the remaining balance of the 12-month term shall apply. Payment of this fee explicitly grants the perpetual license mentioned in 2.2.
- Client Content You own all text, images, logos, and customer data provided by you. This remains your property at all times.
- Background IP SyntaxCare retains ownership of the underlying theme framework, custom plugins, and developer tools.
3. Disclaimer
The materials on Syntax Care's website are provided on an 'as is' basis. Syntax Care makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties.
